Expansion in AP 4.0 is completed

Completed in May 2026, the expansion integrated the 144 AP 4.0 teams — managed by SPDM — with group training in eleven meetings, in the broadest grouping of the entire expansion.

In May 2026, MediRec completed the expansion in Programmatic Area 4.0, managed by the social organization SPDM, integrating the 144 teams in the area.

Six groups, by usage profile

In AP 4.0, the training reached the broadest set of profiles of the entire expansion, in six compositions organized by the use that each one makes of the system: the Internal Regulation Nuclei (NIR) of the CMS; medical RTs; nursing RTs; managers and directors, alongside community health agents; the Health Surveillance Division (DVS); and the Division of Health Actions and Programs (DAPS).

Eleven meetings, at UNIGRANRIO

The training was carried out in eleven meetings, all in the computer laboratory at UNIGRANRIO — the University of Grande Rio. Concentrating the training in a single hub gave consistency to the process and allowed it to reach the 144 teams in the area in an organized way.

As in other areas, the meetings were practical: each participant used MediRec in real time while the team demonstrated the flows. The sessions also served to resolve, on the spot, access and login issues, and to listen to the teams — whose observations continue to feed the continuous improvement of the system.

This format was also based on a practice already common on the network: multiplication. Professionals trained in the meetings become responsible for propagating what they learned within their team and their unit — informally, on a daily basis, and in a structured way in regular meeting spaces, such as the weekly team meeting and the monthly general meeting.

The reach of the entire network

From AP 3.1, covered unit by unit, to AP 4.0, the training format was simultaneously gaining agility and expanding its reach. In AP 4.0 — conducted in the same period as AP 3.3, also under SPDM —, training reached from end to end: from clinical and regulatory teams to health surveillance and health actions and programs divisions, bringing MediRec closer to all the profiles that make the network work.

Human decision and protected data

MediRec’s artificial intelligence suggests priorities and checks criteria and documents, but qualification remains the professional’s responsibility — the clinical decision remains human. Because it deals with health data, MediRec operates as a data processor under network governance: it has no patient-facing interface, processes data only within the scope of the project and ensures its return or deletion within 30 days after the contract ends.
