MediRec begins expansion in AP 3.2

Managed by the social organization IGEDES, AP 3.2 received the expansion in the group training format already consolidated in the network — this time taken to five units in the area.

In October 2025, MediRec began its expansion in Programmatic Area 3.2, managed by the social organization IGEDES. The expansion would reach the 126 teams in the area.

The training followed the group format consolidated in previous areas, with professionals coming together to learn directly about the flows they use on a daily basis. In AP 3.2, the groups were organized transversally: on one side, the front line gathered — doctors, nurses, community health agents and managers together; on the other, regulators and technical leads (RT) separately. The training was distributed across different units in the area, bringing the meetings of teams from each territory closer together.

Human decision and protected data

MediRec’s artificial intelligence suggests priorities and checks criteria and documents, but qualification remains the professional’s responsibility — the clinical decision remains human. Because it deals with health data, MediRec operates as a data processor under network governance: it has no patient-facing interface, processes data only within the scope of the project and ensures its return or deletion within 30 days after the contract ends.

Conceived from practical experience in Brazil’s public health system, MediRec follows a simple method: a concrete care problem becomes a workflow, is tested in the field and only reaches the network after proving results in a real clinic.
